About
The purpose of SF Bee-Cause is to use urban apiculture and its by-products to further “causes” that benefit San Francisco’s native, honey bee and human residents.
Since early 2018, the organization’s site has been within the June Jordan School for Equity grounds, adjacent to the school learning garden operated by Urban Sprouts. SF Bee-Cause runs 2-year beekeeping apprenticeship programs and is in the process of developing an extensive pollinator garden.

What SF Parks Alliance Loves
This group is driven by a critical purpose: increasing the City’s diminishing bee population. We can’t thank them enough!
